Starting Bold
Crumbfire Co. was developed as a 3D packaging and branding project centered around the idea of an artisan bakery inspired by bold, local flavors and handcrafted experiences. The goal of the project was to create a visually immersive brand identity that extended beyond a single product and into a complete customer experience. Through the combination of packaging design, logo development, and 3D product visualization, the project explores how branding can communicate warmth, personality, and storytelling within the food industry.
The visual direction balances rustic bakery aesthetics with modern, energetic typography and color choices to reflect the bakery’s adventurous flavor combinations. Inspired by fire-baked goods, local ingredients, and community-centered markets, the branding was designed to feel welcoming while still visually distinctive. Every design decision, from the typography to the packaging structure, was intended to reinforce the idea of handcrafted quality and memorable flavor.

Initial Concept
The moodboards for Crumbfire Co. captured the atmosphere of an artisan bakery rooted in warmth, craftsmanship, and bold flavor. Inspiration was gathered from colorful retro interiors, handcrafted packaging, and locally sourced ingredients. Textures such as kraft paper, fruit, porcelain plates, and stamped labels helped establish a tactile, authentic visual language.
Color exploration centered around warm neutrals paired with rich accent tones inspired by baked goods and fire, helping the brand feel both cozy and energetic. Typography references included vintage-inspired serif fonts and modern bold sans-serifs to create contrast between tradition and contemporary branding. Together, the moodboards established a creative foundation that guided the final identity system and 3D product direction.
Logo Design
The logo for Crumbfire Co. was designed to reflect the bakery’s handcrafted identity while maintaining a bold and memorable presence. The visual identity combines organic influences with structured typography to communicate both warmth and professionalism. Inspired by the idea of fire-baked craftsmanship, the logo incorporates strong shapes and refined details that reinforce the bakery’s focus on artisanal quality and bold flavor experiences.
The final logo system was created to function across multiple applications, including packaging, signage, social media, and 3D product mockups. Flexibility and readability were important considerations throughout the design process, ensuring the branding remained recognizable whether presented on small labels or larger environmental graphics. The result is a visual identity that feels modern, inviting, and rooted in community-driven craftsmanship.

Through realistic textures, lighting, and environmental presentation, the 3D visuals were designed to simulate how the products might appear in an actual bakery setting. The final outcome presents Crumbfire Co. as a fully realized artisan bakery brand that combines storytelling, packaging, and visual identity into a cohesive and engaging experience.
